I have currently been listening to a lot of folksy music.  Some modern singer songwriters (i.e. Joshua Radin, Ingird Michaelson, Cary Brothers — basically what I like to refer to as the Zach Braff gang), and some not-so-modern (think along the lines of Simon & Garfunkel, Judy Collins, and Peter, Paul & Mary).  Last night there was this moment of pure atmospheric perfection.  Imagine, if you will, the soft glow of candles, a single light on, darkness outside with the melodic pounding of a soft rain and then Dar Williams “The Beauty of the Rain” playing from my iHome.  And if you haven’t heard that song, I recommend listening to it.    (F.Y.I.: I tried to put it on this post, however, since it was purchased from iTunes, it was not allowed.)
